PHOTOGRAPHER POLICY

• Meadowlarke North has hired official photographers for each of our events.   These photographers spend long days out in all weather in the hopes that the competitors will purchase their photos.   It has come to our attention that in the past, there have been several photographers whom we have not hired also taking photos, this takes away from the earning potential of the official photographer making it less likely that they would want to come to the events.   This would be detrimental to all those who enjoy seeing their photos but don’t have access to a private photographer, for this reason we have had to institute the policy below.
• Any uninvited photographers with professional gear that are present at our competitions for the purpose of selling/giving their photographs to competitors/exhibitors will be asked to stop taking pictures or asked to leave the premises.  Only exception to this rule is someone photographing their family member.
• Private/Group/Barn Client Photographers – You must have permission from the Official Photographer & Show Manager to be able to attend the show as a private/group/barn client photographer.   You may be declined access.  Private/group/barn photographer may only VIDEO the client at the show ring where the official photographer is taking photos.  If you wish to also take photos of your client, your client must have pre-paid the official photographer for their photo package before the show.
• If anyone is found photographing without permission or going against the rules above, they could be banned from shooting for a period of 12 months.
